Thousands of students from America, England, Australia, and other diaspora communities will be arriving to Israel in the coming weeks for the experience of a lifetime.
For most, this will be an amazing experience without any significant hurdles. For others, even getting settled will be a challenging experience.
In my work with Yeshivot and Yeshivah Students, I always encourage parents of children with mental illness to develop a relationship with a psychiatrist as soon as possible. Whether it’s scheduling a first appointment or merely establishing contact via phone or email, knowing that this is taken care of is a tremendous relief for parents and their children during this transition.
May all of the new students see extraordinary success in their learning and their personal growth.
