An Amazing Experience at Herzog Hospital

I am tremendously grateful to announce that I have completed a 3-month histaklut period at Herzog Hospital in Jerusalem.  Successfully finishing one’s histaklut period is a mandatory part of the medical licensing process in Israel in order to be recognized as a specialist.  Luckily I had the pleasure of working with an amazing team on the inpatient psychiatric unit under the supervision of Professor Pesach Licthenberg, an exceptional psychiatrist and one of the world’s foremost experts on Jerusalem Syndrome.

In addition to working with renowned clinicians and talented researchers, I was blessed to have had the privilege of caring for many special individuals from the Jerusalem area.

Pictured here with me are Professor Yakir Kaufman (Director of Neurology and Herzog Hospital’s Integrative Health Center), Professor Lichtenberg, and Professor Yehezkel Caine (Director General of the Hospital).

What an honor this has been…
